Shamong Township School District

It is with great pride and excitement that I write to you as the newly appointed Superintendent of Schools. I come to you with over 18 years dedicated to the field ofeducation, a wealth of experiences, and a background in various administrative roles.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from The College of New Jersey, with a focus on Math, Science, and Technology. My Master of Arts degree from Marygrove College emphasized curriculum, instruction, and assessment for grades K-12. I’ve acquired certifications in Teaching English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education, as well as New Jersey certifications in educational leadership, including Supervisor, Principal, and School Administrator. Additionally, I serve as an instructor and mentor for NJEXCEL candidates pursuing supervisory and principal certifications.

My vision for the Shamong School District is built on a commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment that prioritizes safety and champions academic excellence. Experiences such as Director of Curriculum and Instruction in the Lumberton Township School District and Elementary Principal in the Hamilton Township School District have equipped me with a deep understanding of the complexitiesinvolved in school administration and the importance of community engagement and family partnerships.

As the new Superintendent of Schools for Shamong, I am committed to continuing our tradition of academic excellence. Together, we will create a future where every student is valued, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential.

My approach centers around putting students first. Their safety and happiness are my top priorities. I look forward to an outstanding school year.
